Started training back in high school, making the Varsity wrestling team at a 5A school as a freshman. After graduating joined the Army. Trained, competed, and instructed in the Modern Army Combatives Program(MACP). Winning the Fort Sill Combatives tournament and completing the Level 2 course. Have always maintained a love for grappling, instructing, and coaching. Having coached over 12 youth teams in a variety of sports, the focus now is to instruct and demonstrate to children the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu on and off the mats! ?
Had the privilege to train Jiu-Jitsu under some fantastic professors to include: Michael Sanda, Jeff Robertson, Yousef Alirezaei, Alex Malinaro, Orin Lancaster, and now under the guidance of Master Carlos Machado my team and I have no doubt that we will all reach our goals in Jiu-Jitsu!
